Only one of my family's German Shepherds climbed into the tub on their 
own. That one figured out a warm bath helped ease his joints when he was 
growing fast. He'd bark at the faucet which worked - a human turned on 
the tap. Most of the other dogs would chase running animals. When the 
skunk stood its ground, they backed off before getting sprayed the third 
time.
