Key FOB Battery TIP

Hi,

    I have a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

    Recently, my spare key FOB stopped working.
I removed the CR2032 battery and tested it.  It needed
to be replaced.

     I replaced it with a NEW battery and the FOB did NOT work !!.
I was thinking about buying a new FOB, but I decided to test
the battery.  By golly, that battery was not good !!

     I had one more new battery.  This time I tested it first and
it was GOOD.   By golly, I do NOT have to buy another FOB.

    Note: To test this 3V battery, use a 75 ohm load and a good
battery should read more than 2.5V.  The other "new" battery measured
over 1.5V.
