    Every time I open a front door (rear door AOK), the head lights TURN ON!!!
(goes off after a delay).

    The Jeep Service department told me "there is no way to disable.....".

    Since the headlights are incandescent, the "inrush" current that heats up
the cold filament, stresses the filament.  Note:  I have a technical
background.  CONSEQUENTLY,  the life of the headlights is shortened.

    Since this (as other vehicles) is a "software defined feature", with the
proper interface, etc. there should be a way to reprogram (REMOVE)
that "feature".

      When I open a FRONT door (driver or passenger side), the headlights turn
on for about 10 seconds.  The rear doors does NOT have this ISSUE.

      The dealer told me there is NO way to disable that.
