Sebastian passed away yesterday. He'd lost a bunch of weight, was snuggling=
under the covers with me at night, which he never used to do, and finally =
was having trouble eating. He was hungry, but he had a sore in his mouth. I=
took him to the vet yesterday morning to see if we could do something for =
his mouth, and found out he had a fist-sized mass in his abdomen, just rear=
of his ribcage. We made the decision to let him go, and I think it was not=
a moment too soon for him, although it will always be too soon for me.

He was the best, sweetest, smartest cat I have ever had, and he lived at le=
ast 19 very good years, most of them with me.
