Joerg Lorenz <[email protected]> asked > there is no reason to buy a 5G for 5G's sake. *Why would I need to pay _money_ for a 5G phone when they're free?* Every postpaid USA owner of a T-Mobile/Sprint plan was offered a free 5G phone (and this offer is _still_ going on, at least until December 31st). The free 5G phone model keeps changing though, as mine are Samsung Galaxy A32 5G phones, but currently I think it's a Revvl 5G phone (AFAIK). <https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone/t-mobile-revvl-5g> -- If you add a line, the free 5G phone morphs to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, but I don't consider "adding a line" the same as "free" in terms of cost.
