   Removing statues does not "erase history" - however
   it represents an effort at denying/revising/hiding
   history. People should look at those statues and
   have to THINK, have to LEARN.

   Rome's Colosseum was a major state-sponsored exercise
   in brutal slavery - but nobody tears IT down. Instead
   we EDUCATE. Then people can draw their own conclusions.

   De-personing, as mentioned here, denies education,
   thought, and drawing ones own conclusions. It is
   a form of serious censorship.

   As for the NAZI/(Wokie?) original poster ... he can use
