Gee, what a surprise -- NOT! More evidence, as if any were needed, of the 
Israeli tail wagging the American dog.

That appears to be the general consensus of opinion.

It really doesn't seem to matter which party is in power in Washington, 
does it? Both the Democrats and the Republicans regularly kowtow to Israel. 
 
Israel always seems to get a pass, doesn't it? Even when they attacked the 
USS Liberty during the Six Day War in 1967 -- if *any* other nation-state 
had done this, this would have meant war, but Israel got away with the 
literal murder of American sailors. (Just like they're getting away with the 
literal murder of Palestinians today -- and the whole world is giving them a 
pass, yet again.)

Interesting wording, if accurate: Israel first, Jews second, Americans last.

Yeah, right. Like people need intervention from foreign states to get them 
to demonstrate against Israel. All people need is a pair of eyes, to see 
what is going on in Palestine, and some humanity.

I think they would very likely have done it anyway, but support from the 
Israel lobby was the icing on the cake. (Why listen to your constituents, 
and uphold their rights, when to do so would likely incur the wrath of 
AIPAC?)
