Chris Cuomo‘s TikTok account was temporarily banned and
then reinstated within 24 hours, raising questions about
the platform’s content moderation practices.

Cuomo, a NewsNation TV host, had his account permanently
banned for violating TikTok’s “Integrity and Authenticity”
policy. The ban came after several of his videos on topics
including COVID-19, domestic violence and the war in Gaza
were flagged and removed.

According to Isabelle McCauley, Cuomo’s producer, the
removed videos included content about COVID-19 vaccines
and symptoms.

   OK ... we've moved into a fully reality-free sort
   of universe. Only govt/management-approved truths
   may be published - and providers can hide behind
   the shield of their soul-less "algorithms".

   This is maybe even worse than anything Orwell
   envisioned. You THINK you know what's what but
   all the 'what' has been carefully filtered,
   twisted and Bowlderized. Nothing left but the
   utterly surreal.

   The Moderna and esp AZ vax *have* been strongly
   associated with a range of nasty side effects -
   that's "The Science" at work here, not politicians.
   Likely not the actual anti-virus aspects, but the
   "other ingredients" intended to boost response
   and/or extend shelf life.

   BIG scale, were these bad reactions WORTH IT in
   the face of Covid ??? Well, kinda yea. I can see
   why makers are being somewhat shielded - because
   otherwise they won't make the NEXT vital vax
   when we NEED them. As such I'd suggest something
   more official - a lawsuit ban/limitation - rather
   than all the sneaky reality-manipulation. If a
   vax can pass the preliminary tests then a
   "health-emergency waiver" should apply in the
   case of deadly emergent pandemic diseases.
