Since the corporate monopoly media say the same thing why pick
on her? Is it worse when Oc-So says something than when
the "mainstream" media says the same thing?

In a similar vein, Oc-Co (abbrev. sounds like an oil company)
calling for "media literacy" seems like when the New York
Times and ilk called for "closing the digital divide", defined
as those who supposedly too poor to lack digital access to the
New York Times political line ("our national newspaper", and
representatives of "the American Perspective" around the world.)

Suspicious that "reining in the media" refers only to individuals
and competitors , and, like Starmers violent UK censorship enforcement,
specifically excludes the mainstream News sources systemic propagation of
hate, libel, disinformation and misinformation.

Censorship by the systemic monopolization of the corporate media
against opposition is an injustice regardless of whether of
whether their is a First Amendment or not, the concept of Freedom Of Speech
is extent in other countries too.

An example of Soviet disinformation is the fabrication
of a Soviet organized royalist opposition in the 1920s.
Soviet Police spies posing as dissidents lured the British spy
(double-agent?) Sidney Reilly to the Soviet Union to be
arrested and executed.

Information about actual working class origin opposition
to the Soviets tended to be censored in favor of publicized
contrived "terrorist conspiracies of Royalists or capitalists",
or some such with foreign connections.

Stripped of context, like in this article, her apparently recent
specific statements on the subject could mean anything.

Worse, authoritarians are Agenda Setters, if the corporate
media doesn't cover a subject, then you're not allowed to
comment on it because it is "irrelevant"!

What Oc-Co says about the subject is not necessarily
what she thinks about it. Doesn't every "reputable"
political expert say that lying for the "cause" is
meritorious:

'our opponents win by lying, therefore, lying is the
only way to win.'
