Murdering The Truth - We Need a New Term

When info/ideas are deliberately taken away in order
to support a "desired truth/reality" it's generally
called "censorship".

When info is added/restructured/fabricated to create a
"desired truth/reality" it' often called "disinformation".

THESE days, we increasingly see a COMBINATION of
these methods used by governments, radical groups,
political parties, even religious interests. "AI"
just makes it all the worse, harder to detect.

SO ... we do need a NEW term. Is there some
convenient, clear, term in existence which
essentially means "to murder the truth" ???
