Trump is Trump - he never fit neatly into any of our
pre-packaged ideological camps. One day he'll sound
ultra-con, the next kinda 'liberal', the next as the
Big Money guy, the next kinda libertarian - and it's
not really an act. He just AVERAGES center right.
This FRUSTRATES many. Everybody comes running up with
the little box they'd love him to jump into - but
he doesn't. Last month people didn't vote for a
Republican POTUS, they voted for Trump ... the
"Trump Party" candidate.
So, ya either "get him" or you don't.
As for ultra-nerd Musk, I generally trust him to
do What's Right. His idea of what that MEANS may
not always jibe with the general public's idea,
but since when do even any two people agree about
everything ? He clearly likes the US constitution
and BOR ... and that's good enough, better than
most of our 'leaders'.
