Jeremy Moss’s words here are being slightly misreported. He doesn’t say “I don’t think it’s wrong for Israel…” He says “I don’t think it’s wrong for jews…” The statement that “America is not our homeland, we have been victims of antisemitism here” makes much more sense with this correction. Jeremy Moss is a strongly identified jew acting in the interests of organized jewry. Changing his words here seems like an attempt to deflect blame onto Israel alone.
