the ruin=20
comes planned

promises certainty.=20

The mourning=20
not yet
with the never=20
confronted
overflows
eternal troubles.

Here comes=20
original cruelty
primal flood
difficulties
mock the whole
of creations.=20

Cannot concentrate=20
any essence
to real matter
any consequence=20
arising derivative=20
totality of loss.=20

from failed actions=20
and other notations
merely passing=20
on through=20
profound regions=20
that always solicit
more disinterest=20
ending look ups=20
and any semblances=20
to once believed=20
it was meaningful.=20

Passing time=20
is the ultimate killer=20
having scraped out
the very last=20
from the very bottom
out an old tin=20
labelled impossible
once promises=20
the sad partings
that turned up=20
among secret wishes
they would never=20
actually leave.=20

making the familiar=20
a strange city
offering the shock

more than a look

when it isn't

It is another season
seems to belong

stuffed hand me=20
down things=20
and used up ideas.=20

Our lives boiled=20
down to fictions=20
once believed=20
might have been=20
the shades of truth
debating futures.=20

In a dream factory
making factories
mother goose
and takes of duty=20
lead to nothing more
than breakdowns.=20

Bedlam tumbles=20
from a ripped sky
pulsating muscle
tossing about=20
nightmares=20
and other objects.=20

The natural order
being tantrums=20
heaving up=20
and breaking away
small matters=20
and large things.=20

Rational fears=20
mingle crowded in
with the irrational=20
varieties of dread
pressing on bellies
doing steam engine.=20

Some place bets=20
on the horse
taking it all=20
high stakes races
with no winnings
coming in riderless.=20

A little dose of dilute madness for today.=20

If you have not gone at least a little bit mad there is really no remaining=
 hope for you. People will make the same strange gesture at you. People you=
 do not know and whom you are certain do not know you. They all recognize s=
omething very odd about you and so they make the sign that you do not know =
the meaning of. A sign they all know.
