That's what my husband and I agreed upon.
I was married in the early 1980's and we agreed that we wanted to raise our children rather than 
toss them in daycare. This was during the D.I.N.K /Yuppie movement which was all about making money 
and not having kids.

We sacrificed driving crappy cars, saving to buy a house and not hitting Disney every year.
All three of our kids turned out great and all have fantastic careers with high salaries. So now my 
husband and I are enjoying the life we put off for a few years and having a great time.
Our only concern is what kind of future do our kids have?
Prices are insane.
Rents are insane.
They are discouraged because they see the American dream slipping away.

Speaking with other parents and grandparents, I hear the same story.
