It would be nice just to have genuine naturists and naturist sympathetic contributors. Groups like these however are not likely to spread the word to the wider community. To do that you need to join other more general groups, write to the media and elected representatives. I've just joined a general forum and posted to a thread about "embarrassing moments" a note about my belief in naturism. I've had a number of replies from both naturists and textiles, not one was in the least hostile and I specfically asked them to be hostile if that was they felt to get a balanced set of views. The great majority of the general public in most countries has no objection to dignified nudity in the appropriate place. The problem is with the MPs, Councillors and Editors who are too concerned about the adverse reactions of a small minority. From the replies to my post in the other forum (a UK website not a Google group) I believe that there are many "textile naturists" waitng to come out, they only need encouragement and reassurance. I remember how apprehensive I was before my first time. The cultural change cannot come until the legal status is both achieved and clarified. Once people see for themselves that it is OK then more and more will try it for the first time, we know from personal experiences that the first time is rarely the last time in naturism.
