Mark 13:1-23

Mark 13

The Destruction of the Temple Foretold
Mt 24:1-2; Lk 21:5-6

1 As He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him,
"Teacher, see what great stones and what great buildings are here."
2 Jesus answered him, "Do you see these great buildings?
Not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down."

[1] And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him,
Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
[2] And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings?
there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown
down. 

Troubles and Persecutions
Mt 24:3-14; Lk 21:7-19

3 (Mt 21:1; Mk 4:34) As He sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple,
Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Him privately,
4 (Ac 1:6-7) "Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be
the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?"
5 (Jer 29:8; Eph 5:6) Jesus answered them,
"Take heed lest anyone deceive you.
6 (Mk 13:22; Jer 14:14) Many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,'
and will deceive many.
7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled.
For such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
8 (2Ch 15:6; Isa 19:2) For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there
will be famines and troubles. These are the beginning of sorrows.
9 (Mt 10:17-18; Mk 13:5) "But take heed. For they will hand you over to
councils, and in the synagogues you will be beaten. You will be brought
before rulers and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them.
10 (Mt 24:14; Ro 10:18) And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.
11 (Mt 10:19-21; Lk 12:11-12) But when they arrest you and hand you over,
take no thought beforehand, or premeditate what you should speak.
But speak whatever is given you in that time, for it is not you who speaks,
but the Holy Spirit.
12 (Mt 10:21; Lk 12:52-53) "Now a brother will betray his brother to death,
and the father the son; children will rise up against their parents,
and will cause them to be put to death.
13 (Mt 10:22; Da 12:12) You will be hated by all men for My name's sake.
But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and
troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
[9] But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils;
and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before
rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
[10] And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
[11] But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought
beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever
shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak,
but the Holy Ghost.
[12] Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the
son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them
to be put to death.
[13] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall
endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 

The Great Tribulation
Mt 24:15-28; Lk 21:20-24

14 (Da 9:27; 12:11; 11:31) "When you see the 'abomination of desolation'
(Da 9:27; 11:31.) spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing where it should
not be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee
to the mountains.
15 Let him who is on the housetop not go down
or enter the house to take anything out of his house.
16 Let him who is in the field not turn back to take his garment.
17 (Lk 23:29) But woe to women who are pregnant
and to those who nurse in those days!
18 Pray that your escape may not be in winter.
19 (Da 12:1; Dt 4:32) For in those days there will be distress
as has not been from the beginning of the creation which God
created to this time, nor ever shall be.
20 (Isa 65:8-9) "Except the Lord shortened the days, no flesh
would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom He chose,
He shortened the days.
21 (Lk 21:8) Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!'
or 'Look, there He is!' do not believe it.
22 (Mt 24:24; Mk 13:6) For false christs and false prophets will rise
and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
23 (2Pe 3:17; Mk 13:5) But take heed. I have told you all things beforehand.

[14] But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by
Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth
understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
[15] And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither
enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
[16] And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his
garment.
[17] But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in
those days!
[18] And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
[19] For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the
beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall
be.
[20] And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be
saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the
days.
[21] And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is
there; believe him not:
[22] For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs
and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
[23] But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. 

Matthew 24:1-25

1 Jesus departed from the temple and was leaving
when His disciples came to show Him the temple buildings.
2 (Lk 19:44) Jesus answered them, "Do you not see all these things?
Truly I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another
that shall not be thrown down."

[1] And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came
to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
[2] And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto
you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be
thrown down. 

Troubles and Persecutions
Mk 13:3-13; Lk 21:7-19

3 (Mt 21:1; Ac 1:7) As He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples
came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be,
and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?"
4 (Jer 29:8; Eph 5:6)Jesus answered them,
"Take heed that no one deceives you.
5 (Mt 24:11; 24:24) For many will come in My name, saying,
'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.
6 (2Th 2:2) You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are
not troubled. For all these things must happen, but the end is not yet.
7 (Isa 19:2; Ac 11:28) For nation will rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, epidemics,
and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 (Jn 16:2; Mt 23:34) "Then they will hand you over to be persecuted
and will kill you. And you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
10 (Mt 10:21; 11:6) Then many will fall away, and betray one another,
and hate one another.
11 (Mt 7:15; 24:24) And many false prophets will rise and will deceive many.
12 Because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
13 (Mt 10:22; Ro 2:7) But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
14 (Ro 10:18; Col 1:6; 1:23) And this gospel of the kingdom will be
preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations,
and then the end will come.

[10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and
shall hate one another.
[11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
[12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
[13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
[14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a
witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 

The Great Tribulation

20 Pray that your escape will not be in the winter or on the Sabbath.
21 (Da 12:1; Joel 2:2) For then will be great tribulation, such as has
not happened since the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever
shall be.

[21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the
beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

[23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there;
believe it not.
[24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew
great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall
deceive the very elect.

Luke 21:5-24

The Destruction of the Temple Foretold

5 As some spoke of how the temple was adorned
with beautiful stones and gifts, He said,
6 "As for these things which you see, the days will come when
not one stone shall be left on another that will not be thrown down."

[5] And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones
and gifts, he said,
[6] As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which
there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown
down.

Signs and Persecutions
Mt 24:3-14; Mk 13:3-13

7 (Ac 1:6-7) They asked Him, "Teacher, when will these things be,
and what will be the sign when this is about to happen?"
8 (Jer 29:8; Mt 3:2) He said, "Beware lest you be deceived.
For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,'
and 'The time has drawn near.' Therefore do not go after them.
9 When you hear of wars and commotions, do not be afraid.
For these things must first take place, but the end will not be at hand."
10 Then He said to them, "Nation will rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom.
11 Great earthquakes will occur in various places, and there will be
famines and pestilence. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
12 (Ac 8:3) "But before all these things, they will seize you
and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons,
and you will be brought before kings and governors for My name's sake.
13 It will turn out as a testimony for you.
14 Therefore resolve in your hearts beforehand not to practice your defense.
15 (Jer 1:9; Ac 6:10) For I will give you a mouth and wisdom,
which all your opponents will be able to neither refute nor resist.
16 You will be betrayed by parents and brothers and relatives and friends.
And they will put some of you to death.
17 (Jn 15:21; Lk 6:22) You will be hated by all men for My name's sake,
18 (Mt 10:30; 1Sa 14:45) but not a hair of your head shall perish.
19 (Ro 5:3; Heb 10:36) In your endurance you will gain your souls.

[7] And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and
what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
[8] And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in
my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore
after them.
[9] But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for
these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
[10] Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom:
[11] And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and
pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
[12] But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute
you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought
before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
[13] And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
[14] Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye
shall answer:
[15] For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries
shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
[16] And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks,
and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
[17] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
[18] But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
[19] In your patience possess ye your souls.

The Destruction of Jerusalem Foretold
Mt 24:15-21; Mk 13:14-19

20 (Lk 19:43; Da 9:27) "When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies,
then you know that its desolation has drawn near.
21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains,
and let those who are in the city depart, and let not those who are
in the country enter it.
22 (Isa 34:8; 63:4) For these are the days of vengeance,
that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 (Lk 23:29; 1Th 2:16) But woe to those who are pregnant and to those
who nurse in those days! For there will be great distress in the land
and wrath upon this people.
24 (Rev 11:2; Isa 63:18; Ro 11:25) They will fall by the edge of the sword
and will be led away captive to all nations. And Jerusalem will
be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

[20] And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that
the desolation thereof is nigh.
[21] Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them
which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the
countries enter thereinto.
[22] For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written
may be fulfilled.
[23] But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in
those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon
this people.
[24] And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away
captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the
Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. 

Mark 13:24-31

The Coming of the Son of Man
Mt 24:29-31; Lk 21:25-28

24 (Isa 13:10; Eze 32:7) "But in those days, after that distress,
'the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give her light;
25 (Isa 34:4) the stars of heaven will fall,
and the powers that are in heaven will be shaken.'
26 (Mt 16:27; Rev 1:7) "Then they will see the Son of Man coming
in clouds with great power and glory.
27 (Dt 30:4; Mt 24:31) Then He will send His angels and gather His elect
from the four winds, from the farthest part of the earth to the farthest
part of heaven.

[24] But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened,
and the moon shall not give her light,
[25] And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven
shall be shaken.
[26] And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great
power and glory.
[27] And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect
from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost
part of heaven. 

The Lesson of the Fig Tree
Mt 24:32-35; Lk 21:29-33

28 "Now learn a parable of the fig tree: When her branch is yet tender
and puts outs leaves, you know that summer is near.
29 (Jas 5:9) So also, when you see these things come to pass,
know that it is near, even at the doors.
30 (Mt 24:34; Lk 21:32) Truly I say to you, this generation will not
pass away until all these things happen.
31 (Mt 5:18; Isa 40:8) Heaven and earth will pass away,
but My words will not pass away. 

[28] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and
putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
[29] So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know
that it is nigh, even at the doors.
[30] Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all
these things be done.
[31] Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 


Matthew 24:26-35

26 (Ac 21:38) "So, if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert,'
do not go there; or, 'Look, He is in the private chambers,'
do not believe it.
27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west,
so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 (Lk 17:37) Wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be
gathered together.

[26] Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go
not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
[27] For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the
west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
[28] For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered
together. 

The Coming of the Son of Man

29 (Isa 13:10; Joel 2:10) "Immediately after the tribulation of those days,
'the sun will be darkened,
the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from heaven,
and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.' (Joel 2:10.)
30 (Rev 1:7; Da 7:13; Mt 24:3) "Then the sign of the Son of Man will
appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn,
and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven
with power and great glory.
31 (Mt 13:41; 1Co 15:52; 1Th 4:16) And He will send His angels with
a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from
the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

[29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be
darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall
from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
[30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then
shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man
coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
[31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they
shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven
to the other. 

The Lesson of the Fig Tree
Mk 13:28-31; Lk 21:29-33

32 "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: When its branch
becomes tender and grows leaves, you know that summer is near.
33 (Jas 5:9) So also, when you shall see all these things,
you know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 (Mt 16:28; 23:36) Truly I say to you, this generation
will not pass away until all these things take place.
35 (Mt 5:18; Ps 102:26) Heaven and earth will pass away,
but My words will never pass away.

Luke 21:25-33

The Coming of the Son of Man

25 (Isa 13:10; 24:23) "There will be signs in the sun and the moon
and the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity,
the sea and the waves roaring;
26 (Mt 24:29) men fainting from fear and expectation of what is coming
on the inhabited earth. For the powers of heaven will be shaken.
27 (Da 7:13; Mt 26:64) Then they will see the Son of Man coming in
a cloud with power and great glory.
28 (Ro 8:23; Eph 4:30) When these things begin to happen,
look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption is drawing near."

[25] And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars;
and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the
waves roaring;
[26] Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things
which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
[27] And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and
great glory.
[28] And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up
your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. 

The Lesson of the Fig Tree
Mt 24:32-35; Mk 13:28-31

29 He told them this parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.
30 When they are sprouting leaves already,
you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near.
31 So in like manner, when you see these things happening,
you know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 (Mt 24:34; Mk 13:30) "Truly, I tell you, this generation will not pass
away until all these things are fulfilled.
33 (Mt 5:18; Ps 102:26) Heaven and earth will pass away,
but My words will not pass away. 

[29] And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
[30] When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that
summer is now nigh at hand.
[31] So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the
kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
[32] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be
fulfilled.
[33] Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Philippians 4:4-9

Exhortations

4 (Php 3:1; Ro 12:12) Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
5 (Jas 5:8-9) Let everyone come to know your gentleness. The Lord is at hand.
6 (Eph 6:18; Mt 6:25-33) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer
and supplication with gratitude, make your requests known to God.
7 (Jn 14:27; Col 3:15; Isa 26:3) And the peace of God, which surpasses all
understanding, will protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 (Ac 6:3; 10:22) Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever
things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report,
if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.
9 (Php 3:17; Ro 15:33; Php 4:7) Do those things which you have both learned
and received, and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

A meteorologist in Mississippi went viral for uttering six simple yet profound
words during his weather forecast on March 24, 2023. Matt Laubhan was tracking
a severe storm when he realised a catastrophic tornado was about to bear down 
on the town of Amory. That's when Laubhan paused on live TV to say this prayer
heard worldwide: "Dear Jesus, please help them. Amen." Some viewers later said
that prayer prompted them to take cover. His spontaneous and heartfelt prayer 
may have helped save countless lives.

Our prayers can make a difference too. They don't have to be long-winded. They
can be short and sweet and can be said at any time of the day. Whether we're 
at work, running errands, or on vacation, we can "pray continually" 
(1 Thessalonians 5:17).

God loves to hear us pray throughout the day. The apostle Paul reminds us that
we don't have to be prisoners of worry or fear but can take all our cares and 
concerns to God: "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and 
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7).

Week 3 - Saved Now and Forever - Day 3 - Inseparable From God's Love

Romans 8:38-39

38 (Eph 1:21; 1Pe 3:22) For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,
neither angels nor principalities nor powers, neither things present
nor things to come,
39 (Ro 5:8) neither height nor depth, nor any other created thing,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Separation is a fact of human life. Relationships disintegrate,
children grow up, loved ones die, husbands and wives divorce,
friends changes and drift apart. We may resist change and separation,
but we must deal with them nevertheless.
Separation sometimes is a natural result of growth and development;
sometimes it is a violent, cataclysmic shaking of an individual's life.
2 lifelong friends go separate ways to college or into future careers;
a church splits over doctrinal differences; a wife finds out a hidden
secret in her husband's past.
But with God, there is no separation, no death, no breaking of vows,
no growing beyond the relationship. Nothing, says Paul, can separate
us from the love of God. A skeleton in my closet, once revealed, may
cost me the trust of those I thought were my friends. But God knows
all my past, all my sin; he forgives, and it cannot separate me from him.
My present personal struggles may cause trouble in my job and result in
the loss of that income, but God understands what I'm going through,
and even when I'm angry at him, he can take it without drawing away
or striking back. My present problems cannot separate me from the Lord.
And God knows, too, the plan he has established for my future. I cannot
walk away from him, grow beyond my need for him, or outrun him into
tomorrow.
She may separate me from my awareness of God's presence in my life,
but it cannot set me beyond his reach. There is no power that is greater
than God's love, and no place I can go that will separate me
from that love.

Application

a) Have I ever felt separated from the love of God? Under what circumstances?

the present or the future?

Charlottetown does not currently (fall 2014) have a local CNMM network.
Pray with us for God's people to come together in reaching Muslims
cooperatively across denominational and organisational lines.

More than 200 attended the Eid festival at the end of Ramadan, the Islamic
month of fasting during daylight hours and the reading of the Qur'an, at
the Dar as-Salam mosque in 2014. This second mosque established
in Charlottetown, the other being the Muslims Association of PEI.
As of mid-2014,there are between 250 to 300 families, mostly in Charlottetown.

The Muslims of Charlottetown see their community as symbolically important
for this nation since this is known as the "birthplace of Canada". Yet we were
established as the "Dominion of Canada" with an appeal not only to
monarchial authority, but even more to God's higher Biblical authority as
shown in Psalm 72:8, "May he have dominion from sea to sea,
and from the River to the ends of the earth."
Let us intercede together for:

- the growing Muslim population of Charlottetown and spreading
outward through PEI to encounter the Prince of Peace.
- believers to have faith and vision to reach out to the Muslim Community
in contextual ways to share the Gospel
- churches and ministries to rise up in wisdom, knowledge and understanding,
giving and training, coaching and encouragement to believers reaching
out to Muslims locally.
- a prayer movement to be established, feeding a growing move of Yahweh's
Spirit in His churches and people , and an awakening an openness
and spiritual hunger in Muslims for relationship with the Father
through the Son.

When the new moon is sighted it marks the beginning of t he new Islamic month
and Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", will start! After 30 days
of fasting, the Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan is a joyful time that
usually lasts about 3 days. Muslims will buy new clothes, exchange gifts and,
of course, enjoy special foods. In Muslim-majority nations, the streets may be
decorated and festivals will be held.
For many Muslims, Eid-al-Fitr begins with communal prayers at daybreak and the
distribution of money (zakat) to the poor, which is one of the 5 pillars of
Islam.
You can greet Muslim friends during this time by saying "Eid Mubarak",
which means Blessed Eid!"
Ramadan is over for this year, but you can continue to pray for Muslims you
know, and Muslims around the world:
- Despite the unsettling developments in our world today that involve actions
in the name of Islam, there is at the same time a largely untold story about
unprecedented movement to Christ among Muslims. There have been more such
movements of thousands or more new disciples among Muslims in the last three
decades or so than in all the previous history of Christian Muslim
relationships! Pray for this momentum to continue.

Acts 2:12-17 : 17 12 They were all amazed and perplexed, saying to each other,
"What does this mean?"
13 (1Co 14:23) Others mocking said, "These men are full of new wine."

Peter's Speech at Pentecost

14 (Ac 1:26) But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice
and said to them, "Men of Judea and all you who dwell in Jerusalem,
let this be known to you, and listen to my words.
15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose,
since it is the third hour of the day.
16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 (Isa 44:3; Ac 10:45) 'In the last days it shall be,' says God,
'that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;

your young men shall see visions,

- Pray for Christian workers an organisations focused on seeing effective
discipleship movements among Muslim people.

- Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to inspire you to have god's heart for
Muslims, to see them as He does, and to be the light that then to Jesus.

Matthew 5:14-15 : 14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a
hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under
a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the
house."

Ideas for prayer

- Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you
- Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving
Christ among Muslim people -

Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality."
- When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims
throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days!

My paternal side is of Muslim heritage and will offer this section to further
call for Muslim converts to Christian and any other converts to Christianity

a) Pray that God will enlighten those in medicine and health care
to acknowledge the sanctity of life and server with true
integrity and compassion (

Ps 139:13-16

13 You brought my inner parts into being;
You wove me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise you, for You made me with fear and wonder;
marvelous are Your works,
and You know me completely.
15 My frame was not hidden from You
when I was made in secret,
and intricately put together in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw me unformed,
yet in Your book
all my days were written,
before any of them came into being.

13 For thou hast possessed my reins:
Thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee,
When I was made in secret, and curiously wrought
in the lowest parts of the earth.

b) Pray that the Church in Canada will remember the poor
and compassionately respond to their plight (

Conclusion:

Pray to the Lord and pray to know Him as Salvation and security during 
Times of Trouble. 

Pray to the Lord: "Dear God, thank You for Your fierce, 
protective love for me. Help me to rest securely in Your tender care."

Pray to the Lord and pray to know that you are not separated 
from the Love of God.

Pray to the Lord and pray to choose the Lord in all things.

Pray to the Lord and pray to the Lord's compassion.

Pray for Prince Edward Island and her Muslim populations
