NUMBERS 32

The Tribes Settling in Gilead

1 (Nu 21:32; 32:3) Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad 
had a very great number of livestock, and when they saw the land of Jazer 
and the land of Gilead was a place for livestock, 
2 the children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke to Moses, 
and to Eleazar the priest, and to the leaders of the assembly, saying, 
3 (Nu 32:34-38; Jos 13:17) "Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, 
and Hesh-bon, and Elealeh, and Sebam, and Nebo, and Beon, 
4 (Nu 21:34; 21:24) the land which the Lord defeated before 
the assembly of Israel is a land for livestock, 
and your servants have livestock." 
5 And they said, "If we have found mercy in your sight, let this land 
be given to your servants for a possession, 
and do not take us over the Jordan."
6 Moses said to the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben,
"Will your brothers go to war, and you will dwell here? 
7 And why would you discourage the hearts of the children of Israel 
from going over into the land which the Lord has given to them? 
8 Thus your fathers did, when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land. 
9 When they went up to the Valley of Eshkol and saw the land, 
they discouraged the hearts of the children of Israel so they would not go 
into the land which the Lord had given them. 
10 (Nu 14:11) And the anger of the Lord was inflamed on that day, 
and He swore, saying, 
11 (Nu 14:28-30) 'Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, 
from twenty years old and older, will see the ground which I swore 
to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, because they did not completely 
follow Me, 
12 (Dt 1:36; Nu 14:24) except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, 
and Joshua the son of Nun, because they completely followed the Lord.'
13 (Nu 14:33-35) The anger of the Lord was inflamed against Israel, 
and He made them wander in the wilderness forty years, 
until all the generation that did evil in the eyes of the Lord was finished.
14 "Behold, you have risen up in your fathers' place, an increase of sinful 
men, to increase more the burning anger of the Lord toward Israel. 
15 (2Ch 15:2) If you turn away from following Him, He will again abandon 
them in the wilderness, and you will destroy all this people."
16 They approached him and said, "We will build sheepfolds here for 
our livestock and cities for our children. 
17 (Jos 4:12-13) But we ourselves will be armed, ready 
before the children of Israel, until we have brought them to their place. 
Our little ones will dwell in the fortified cities 
because of the inhabitants of the land. 
18 We will not return to our houses until all the children of Israel 
have inherited their inheritance. 
19 (Jos 13:8) We will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan 
or beyond, because our inheritance 
fell to us on this side of the Jordan to the east."
20 (Jos 4:12-13) Moses said to them, "If you will do this thing, if you will 
be armed before the Lord for war, 
21 and all of you, each armed, will go over the Jordan before the Lord 
until He has driven out His enemies from before Him 
22 (Jos 22:9; Dt 3:20) and the land is subdued before the Lord, then after
that you will return and be exempt before the Lord and before Israel, 
and this land will be your possession before the Lord.
23 (Ge 44:16; Isa 59:12) "But if you will not do so, you have sinned 
against the Lord, and be sure your sin will find you out. 
24 (Nu 32:16) Build for yourselves cities for your children 
and folds for your sheep, and do that which has proceeded out of your mouth."
25 The children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke to Moses, saying, 
"Your servants will do as my lord commands. 
26 (Jos 1:14) Our children, our wives, our flocks, and all our livestock 
will be there in the cities of Gilead, 
27 (Jos 4:12) but your servants will cross over, each man armed for war, 
before the Lord to battle, as my lord says."
28 (Jos 1:13) So Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, 
and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes 
of the children of Israel. 
29 And Moses said to them, "If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben 
will cross over the Jordan with you, each man armed for battle 
before the Lord, and the land will be subdued before you, you are 
to give them the land of Gilead as a possession. 
30 But if they do not cross over with you armed, they will have possessions 
among you in the land of Canaan."
31 The children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, 
"As the Lord has said to your servants, so we will do. 
32 We will cross over, armed before the Lord into the land of Canaan, 
so the possession of our inheritance on this side of the Jordan may be ours."
33 (Jos 12:6; Dt 3:12-17) Moses gave to the children of Gad, 
to the children of Reuben, and to half the tribe of Manasseh 
the son of Joseph, 
the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites 
and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land with the cities 
within the borders, the cities of the surrounding land.
34 (Dt 2:36; Nu 32:3) The children of Gad built Dibon and Ataroth and Aroer, 
35 (Nu 32:1; 32:3) Atroth Shophan and Jazer and Jogbehah, 
36 (Nu 32:3) Beth Nimrah and Beth Haran, fortified cities, 
and folds for sheep. 
37 (Nu 21:27; 32:3) And the children of Reuben built Heshbon 
and Elealeh and Kiriathaim, 
38 (Nu 32:3; Isa 46:1) Nebo and Baal Meon (their names being changed)
 and Sibmah; and they named the other cities which they built.
39 (Ge 50:23) The children of Makir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead 
and captured it and drove out the Amorites who were in it. 
40 (Jos 17:1) Moses gave Gilead to Makir the son of Manasseh, 
and he lived in it. 
41 (Dt 3:14; Jdg 10:4)  Jair the son of Manasseh went 
and captured its small towns and called them Havvoth Jair. 
42 Nobah went and captured Kenath and its villages 
and called it Nobah, after his own name.

Numbers 32
[1] Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great
multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of
Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;
[2] The children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spake unto
Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of the congregation,
saying,
[3] Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and
Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon,
[4] Even the country which the LORD smote before the congregation of Israel,
is a land for cattle, and thy servants have cattle:
[5] Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land
be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.
[6] And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben,
Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here?
[7] And wherefore discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel from
going over into the land which the LORD hath given them?
[8] Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the
land.
[9] For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they
discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go
into the land which the LORD had given them.
[10] And the LORD's anger was kindled the same time, and he sware, saying,
[11] Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old
and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and
unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:
[12] Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of
Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.
[13] And the LORD's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them
wander in the wilderness fourty years, until all the generation, that had
done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.

sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.

[19] For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward;
because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.
[20] And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed
before the LORD to war,
[21] And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he hath
driven out his enemies from before him,
[22] And the land be subdued before the LORD: then afterward ye shall
return, and be guiltless before the LORD, and before Israel; and this land
shall be your possession before the LORD.
[23] But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and
be sure your sin will find you out.
[24] Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do
that which hath proceeded out of your mouth.
[25] And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses,
saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth.
[26] Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be
there in the cities of Gilead:
[27] But thy servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the
LORD to battle, as my lord saith.
[28] So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the

[29] And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of
Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the
LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the
land of Gilead for a possession:
[30] But if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have
possessions among you in the land of Canaan.
[31] And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As
the LORD hath said unto thy servants, so will we do.
[32] We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that
the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours.
[33] And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the
children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph,
the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of
Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of
the country round about.
[34] And the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,
[35] And Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah,
[36] And Beth-nimrah, and Beth-haran, fenced cities: and folds for sheep.
[37] And the children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kirjathaim,

gave other names unto the cities which they builded.
[39] And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took
it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.
[40] And Moses gave Gilead unto Machir the son of Manasseh; and he dwelt
therein.
[41] And Jair the son of Manasseh went and took the small towns thereof, and
called them Havoth-jair.
[42] And Nobah went and took Kenath, and the villages thereof, and called it
Nobah, after his own name.

NUMBERS 33

Recounting Israel's Journey

1 (Ps 77:20; Mic 6:4) These are the journeys of the children of Israel, 
who went out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand 
of Moses and Aaron. 
2 (Nu 9:17-23) Moses recorded the starting points of their journeys 
at the command of the Lord. These are their journeys according 
to their starting points.
3 (Ex 14:8; 12:37) They set out from Rameses in the first month, 
on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the day after the Passover 
the children of Israel went out with a high hand 
in the sight of all the Egyptians, 
4 (Ex 12:12; Isa 19:1) because the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, 
whom the Lord had killed among them. Upon their gods the Lord 
executed judgments.
5 (Ex 12:37) The children of Israel set out from Rameses 
and camped in Sukkoth.
6 (Ex 13:20) They set out from Sukkoth and camped in Etham, 
which is on the edge of the wilderness.
7 (Ex 14:2; 14:9) They set out from Etham and turned to Pi Hahiroth, 
which is before Baal Zephon, and they camped before Migdol.
8 They set out from before Pi Hahiroth, and passed through the midst 
of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey 
in the Wilderness of Etham, and camped in Marah.
9 (Ex 15:27) They set out from Marah, and came to Elim, and in Elim 
were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there.
10 They set out from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.
11 (Ex 16:1) They set out from the Red Sea and camped 
in the Wilderness of Sin.
12 They set out from the Wilderness of Sin and camped in Dophkah.
13 They set out from Dophkah and camped in Alush.
14 They set out from Alush and camped at Rephidim, 
where there was no water for the people to drink.
15 (Ex 19:1-2) They set out from Rephidim and camped

44 (Nu 21:11) They set out from Oboth and camped in Iye Abarim, 
on the border of Moab.

Instructions for Conquering Canaan
50 The Lord spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, 
saying: 
51 (Jos 3:17; Dt 9:1) Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 
When you are crossing over Jordan into the land of Canaan, 
52 (Ex 23:24; Lev 26:1) then you will drive out all the inhabitants 
of the land from before you, and destroy all their carved images, 
and destroy all their molded images, and destroy all their high places, 
53 and you will drive out the inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, 
because I have given you the land to inherit it. 
54 (Nu 26:53-56) You will possess the land by lot for an inheritance 
among your families, and to the larger you will give the larger inheritance, 
and to the smaller you will give the smaller inheritance. Every man's 
inheritance will be in the place where his lot falls. By the tribes of your 
fathers you will inherit.
55 (Jdg 2:3) But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from 
before you, then those whom you let remain will be like thorns in your 
eyes and thorns in your sides. They will show hostility to you in the land 
in which you live. 
56 (Dt 28:63) And what I had planned to do to them, I will do to you.

Numbers 33
[1] These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out
of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
[2] And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the
commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their
goings out.
[3] And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day
of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel
went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
[4] For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten
among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
[5] And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
[6] And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the
edge of the wilderness.
[7] And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pi-hahiroth, which is
before Baal-zephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
[8] And they departed from before Pi-hahiroth, and passed through the midst
of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the
wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
[9] And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve
fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched
there.
[10] And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
[11] And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of
Sin.
[12] And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped
in Dophkah.
[13] And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
[14] And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no
water for the people to drink.
[15] And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of
Sinai.
[16] And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at
Kibroth-hattaavah.
[17] And they departed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
[18] And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
[19] And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon-parez.
[20] And they departed from Rimmon-parez, and pitched in Libnah.
[21] And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.
[22] And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
[23] And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
[24] And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.
[25] And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
[26] And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.
[27] And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.
[28] And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.
[29] And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
[30] And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.
[31] And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-jaakan.
[32] And they removed from Bene-jaakan, and encamped at Hor-hagidgad.
[33] And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
[34] And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
[35] And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Ezion-gaber.
[36] And they removed from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wilderness of
Zin, which is Kadesh.
[37] And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of
the land of Edom.
[38] And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the
LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were
come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
[39] And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in
mount Hor.
[40] And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of
Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
[41] And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
[42] And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
[43] And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
[44] And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ije-abarim, in the border
of Moab.
[45] And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.
[46] And they removed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.
[47] And they removed from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of
Abarim, before Nebo.
[48] And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the
plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
[49] And they pitched by Jordan, from Beth-jesimoth even unto Abel-shittim
in the plains of Moab.
[50] And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near
Jericho, saying,
[51] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are
passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
[52] Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before
you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images,
and quite pluck down all their high places:
[53] And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein:
for I have given you the land to possess it.
[54] And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your
families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the
fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be
in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers
ye shall inherit.
[55] But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before
you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them
shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in
the land wherein ye dwell.
[56] Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought
to do unto them.

Numbers 26:1-4, 20-22

1 (Nu 25:9) After the plague, the Lord spoke to Moses 
and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying, 
2 (Ex 38:25-26; Nu 1:2-3) "Take the count of all the assembly 
of the children of Israel from twenty years old and older, 
throughout their fathers' houses, all that are able to go to war in Israel." 
3 (Nu 22:1; 33:48) Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them 
in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, 
4 (Nu 1:1) "Take the count of the people from twenty years old and older," 
as the Lord commanded Moses.

20 (Ge 46:12; Ne 11:24) The sons of Judah after their families were:
of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites;
of Perez, the family of the Perezites;
of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites.
21 The sons of Perez were:
of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites;

[1] And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spake unto Moses and

[3] And Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab
by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
[4] Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the
LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the
land of Egypt.

[20] And the sons of Judah after their families were; of Shelah, the family
of the Shelanites: of Pharez, the family of the Pharzites: of Zerah, the
family of the Zarhites.
[21] And the sons of Pharez were; of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites:
of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.
[22] These are the families of Judah according to those that were numbered
of them, threescore and sixteen thousand and five hundred.

Hunched over a manual typewriter, Itzhak Stern worked through the night, 
tapping out names - 1098 in all. The names comprised a list of Jewish 
workers protected from the Nazis by factory owner Oskar Schindler. 
Clutching the document, Stern declared, "The list is an absolute good. 
The list is life." Those named on its pages would survive the Holocaust. 
In 2012, it was estimated that the descendants of the survivors numbered 8500.

The Bible contains its share of lists. We tend to skip them. Too many names; 
too much repetition. We might even say today's reading is . . . boring. 
"The descendants of Judah by their clans were: through Shelah, 
the Shelanite clan; through Perez, the Perezite clan . . ." (Numbers 26:20). 
Who cares?

God cares! "These were the Israelites who came out of Egypt," 
says the historical record (v. 4). Soon the people would inhabit the land 
promised to them. And one day, the Messiah would come from this 
very clan of Judah. The list is life, not only for the Jewish people, 
but for us too. For the names of all those who trust in Jesus are 
now "written in heaven" (Luke 10:20).

We know of Oskar Schindler's list from the powerful film Schindler's List 
and historical records. We know of God’s great salvation from the story

Week 5 Rejoice in Grace - Day 7 Break up Your Fallow Ground

Hosea 10:12

12 Sow to yourselves righteousness, reap mercy,
break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek the Lord,
until He comes and rains righteousness upon you.

12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy;
break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD,
till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

When a farmer prepares to plant his crop, a great deal of preparation
is necessary before the seen can be sown. He has to plow up the ground,
turning under the stubble from the previous harvest, harrow the field to
break up the clods, and fertilise- readying the soil for optimum growth.
A fallow field, one that was not planted the previous season, must be
broken and worked so that the seed can find root in the ground.
The Bible likens spiritual growth to raising crops. God is the one
who brings rain and gives growth, but the success or failure
of the seed - both in initial salvation and in ongoing maturity -
is often linked to how well the soil has been prepared.
That preparation isn't always a pleasant or rewarding process.
We may resist the plowing or harrowing that comes through
the Holy Spirit's conviction of sin. We may need to dig up boulders
of bitterness and thistles of anger; we may have to plow under the
stubble of the last crop of lessons, working that mulch deep into our lives.
But the final outcome is worth the effort - even the pain - that
preparation brings. Broken up, harrowed, readied for the seed of God's Word,
we are rich and fertile ground, and the seed of righteousness produces
an abundant crop in us.

Application

a) In what ways have I been "broken up" and "harrowed" by the Holy
Spirit to prepare me for God's work in me?

b) How can I apply these verses to myself? How can I
"sow in righteousness," "reap in mercy," "break up my fallow ground"?

The Lord's prayer

Matthew 6:9-13

Saskatoon has seen quick growth in its Muslim population over the past
5 years, which maybe as high as 5000 today. Islamic leaders have 
focused specifically on this city , having twice already sent cohorts
of about 70 families to start mosques. There are now 7 Islamic centres
of worship and an ISlamic madrassah (school) located right next to a 
Christian school.
Of particular concern recently is the number of young adults who grew up
in evangelical churches and converted to Islam. Most of these are young
women whowere wooed by Muslim man and became emotionally bonded. 
Both prior to and after marrying, these women are known to convert to ISlam.

Agree in prayer with us for:
- entire congregations and individual believers to catch God's heart
and passion for reaching Muslims in Saskatoon and the other growing
Muslim population centres of Saskatchewan.
- for the eyes and understanding of Canadian youth to be opened to the 
  spiritual reality of Islam, and not deceived nor manipulated into
  converting to a religion which cannot offer assurance of salvation. 
- for the few workers among Muslims now engaged there, and for many more
  to be raised up into effective witness.
- for prayer and training events that are starting in Saskatoon 
  to spread and grow to other cities.

Pray for the Comoros</a>

The Comoros archipelago is sometimes known as the Perfume Islands, 
with spices and herbs like vanilla, cloves, frangipani, jasmine 
and lemongrass grown here and creating a delightful fragrance.

Almost one million people live on the four main islands, which 
are located between Madagascar and Mozambique. One of them, 
Mayotte, is a French overseas territory, which is why many 
Comorians try to reach France via this island. This has led 
to unrest and conflict as the population has lived in poor 
conditions for generations. Meanwhile, the Comoros islands 
are almost exclusively Muslim.

Said is one of very few Christians on the island. Only a few people
around him and in his family know Jesus. He wants the Comoros people 
to get to have the opportunity to read the Word of God and to believe. 
Together with other believers and missionary societies, he is working 
on a Bible translation in the local language. This will give people 
access to the Word of God in their mother tongue, which is crucial 
to spreading the gospel and enabling a deeper connection to faith.

The unity and dedication behind this collaboration is impressive. 
The indigenous believers and mission agencies bring their resources, 
talents and passions to serve God's mission together.

How to Pray

Pray that the fragrance of God spreads throughout the Perfume Islands 
and that the people experience Him.

Pray that Christians may live safely and securely.

Pray for Bible translation to progress well, with great unity in the team.

My paternal side is of Muslim heritage and will offer this section to further
call for Muslim converts to Christian and any other converts to Christianity
(Hindus, Jews, aboriginals Canadian, ...) .

I) Pray for the leaders of Manitoba, that God's Spirit would influence them
to act justly, serve with integrity and honour high moral standards.
( 1 Tim 2:1 - 4 1 Therefore I exhort first of all that you make supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for everyone, 
2 (Ezr 6:10) for kings
and for all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life 
in all godliness and honesty, 
3 (1Ti 1:1; Lk 1:47) for this is good and
acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
4 (Eze 18:23; 18:32)who desires all men to be saved and to come 
to the knowledge of the truth.

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 
2 for kings, and for all that are in authority; 
that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

II) Pray for the churches of the province, that they would be lighthouses
beaming forth the illuminating truth of God's Word.

III) Pray that the Lord would use the Finding the Hope Campaign 
and booklet to turn many hearts to Jesus 

Conclusion:

Pray to the Lord and pray to for His help in battle and travel.

Pray to the Lord: "Dear God, please help me read the Bible carefully. 
May Your Spirit guide me to see the value in each verse."

Pray to the Lord and pray for Him to break up your fallow ground. 

Pray to the Lord and pray to be faithful in your stewartship.

Pray to the Lord and pray that the Word would dwell within you richly.

Pray that the fragrance of God spreads throughout the Perfume Islands 
and that the people experience Him.
