The Churches and their Political Leaders Who really do many of the Churches follow? When a political leader of a country declares war on another country, he defines that country as the "enemy". And during that war, this political leader permits the killing of that "enemy". Another leader, Jesus, told his followers how to treat their "enemy". Mt 5:44, "But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you," (NASB) Which leader does your church follow?
