Islam and the Bible is like black and white. There are principles in the Bible which cover the act of suicide. For example, we are commanded by Jesus at Mt 19:19 to "love your neighbor as yourself." Notice it says to "love...yourself". Thus by killing yourself you would be disregarding Jesus' command. God says in a poetic way life is precious: -- King James Psalms 36:9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. Suicide is murdering oneself. And the Bible forbids murder: -- New King James 1 John 3:15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
