Incontinence is not the only problem bladder older people have. Many have the opposite and can't urinate at all so they have to use a catheter several times a day to empty the bladder. (For those who don't know a catheter is a long thin tube that you insert through the penis tip into the bladder to drain it.) My uncle who was uncircumcised had this problem in his final years when he was in a care home. He had regular problems with urinary tract infections from bacteria picked up when he inserted the device. Later when he couldn't do it any more by himself nurses had to do it and things actually got worse, he had serious infections that got to his kidneys , these became very serious twice and I'm sure shortened his life. It's really hard for old uncircumcised men to keep their foreskin sterile for their catcheters. You only have two hands and they have to hold the foreskin back while they clean the penis head and insert the tube often with shaky hands, poor eyesight, cognitive problems. It is so easy to contaminate the procedure with foreksin germs. Nurses don't like the job because these men usually have very smelly penises when they can't care for themselves so the nurses rush the job or are careless and the men get UTIs regularly. This isn't something uncircumcised guys think about when they are younger because they expect to be young and healthy forever but if they live long enough bladder problems are in their future and if that is the case life is a lot easier if you're circumcised.
