Looking for wax remover for automobile

I messed up the finish on the hood of my car by using a kitchen sponge that 
has the (supposedly) non-abrasive pads on one side. I want to strip the wax 
but leave the paint: Dawn dishwashing has been suggested, but I'd rather go 
with a commercial product made for that purpose.

Any suggestions?
