I completely understand that this is twenty years too late (Thread's older than me!). However I think I can help. I do have a copy of Ernest Hastings' singing it and the sheet music if you want. I have a fond interest in music hall songs and society entertainers at the piano, which is what Hastings was. He would sing these humorous songs to his own piano accompaniment, as did many stars back in the day. It was a unique art form still seen today.
