In colonial and immediate post-Revolutionary War days, the unorganized militia was a real thing. They were called out from time to time and drilled and given military instruction (in order to be effective slave patrols), which gave them the character of being "well regulated" as the second amendment requires. That has not been the case for centuries. Those jackballs dressing up in camo and strutting around trying to look like tuff-bois with AR-15s are not the militia. They are right-wingnut criminals. A real militia would be run by the civil government of the state. These assholes are just fucking around trying to emulate scooter's drunken Virginia campers. There is no unorganized militia. This is settled.
