The cover is a top-down image of a stone floor made of red, green, gold and blue rocks mortared in white, with a purple pentagram in the middle, onto which Silver Age Very-Disturbed-Scary-Creature Man is tied, except for one hand. Around him dances a gorilla who wears a purple robe (which has various weird magickal symbols written on it in gold) and holds a three-tiered candlestick. Silver Age VDSCM stretches his free hand out beseechingly at the reader. GORILLA: Your vulnerability to magic has left you helpless, Argent Avenger!
