Pittsburgh. An overcast day. A shadow forms behind the clouds. There is something behind them, immense as the world. Through the clouds falls an enormous, craggy face, the face of Judgment. What looks like a single being rises to meet the face, what looks like a single hand reaching out to touch it. A great flash of violet, indigo and magenta - the Purple Event. Horror rains upon the city. Drama rains upon the city. Fantasy rains upon the city. Comedy rains upon the city. The skies clear. The sun shines, on a crisp, cold day. Has anything changed? Has everything changed? That night, it's hard to sleep, tossing and turning. It's not that dreams are hard to come by-- it's that there's so many, too many...
