Thanks for the reminder - my payment was 10+ years ago and they've had
nothing from me since. I've also heard that Agent was 'abandonware'
which wouldn't surprise me given how many servers have abandoned
Usenet as a whole.

You probably have forgotten the line from Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow
Taxi" (which says a lot to me about Usenet which is a long way towards
"gone" alas) which goes

"Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got
Till it's gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot"

Right now my big push is for a solution to a freeware Sudoku puzzle
program that these days wants to start up off-screen. (But when I look
at Task Manager it's there) A solution for me would be to have the
icon on the main screen (I have two monitors) but the solutions
suggested here previously didn't work. (Am running Win 11 and didn't
have that problem until a recent OS 'upgrade' ..choke choke)
