Are you really using the real Firefox? Not a bogus
Firefox with the same look-and-feel?
I have no problem using F9 to activate Reader View.
Did you forget that you binded F9 to an extension
(Manage Keyboard shortcut in Extensions)?
What version of Firefox? What website(s)?
