I'm trying to get over the bloat thing, I know it's BS, I have tons of
runtimes, frameworks and other rubbish installed. I'm still in rehab
though. I understand the bloat thing is even more distracting for humans.

So what do you use in place of Image Resizer. I like it because it works
with explorer, and it's good for progress and documentation images.

I'm trying FancyZones because as you know I have a big LGBTQ+ fanbase.
Aside from the logo which I feel should be more pink, I think it's
complementary to the built in multi window arranger in Windows 11. Quite
whether it's worth the effort, I cannot say yet. I thought I would give
File Locksmith a try, but I hardly ever get locked files in Windows 11
because it's so brilliant.

[Gemini]

Ctrl+Shift+V is an instruction to the destination app to ignore the
formatting of whatever is currently on the clipboard. PureText actually
strips the formatting from the clipboard itself. So, it works with
‘legacy and stubborn’ applications.

[Cat AI]

So, take LibreOffice Calc as an example of stubborn, copy a cell with
any underlying formula, say you just want to paste the value, do the
Ctrl+Shift+V you get a popup box, then you have to select ‘Unformatted
text’ and you have to do that again to repeat. With PureText <bish> the
unformatted text stays on the clipboard. So, to use it again, Ctrl-v,
Libreoffice Calc does all kinds of crazy things with the formatting as
well if you try ‘Paste special’ > whatever. I don’t want a billion
options, I just want to paste either the formula or the value/text.

Excel can be a bit of a bugger with cells with formulas, you get the old
#REF! thingy if you paste into certain cells. I tried as per your link
to paste numerical value but Ctrl+Shift+V does nothing, go figure, but
PureText pastes the text not the formula. Most excel lent.

There are ways around most things like this but I find it just easier on
my pussy brain, it’s simple, basically, it gives me options sometimes,
even on Windows 11 which doesn't have quite so many legacy issues
because it's brilliant.

Then there's the paw thing, the big one, I can use just 2 keys, whatever
is available, or just click the icon in the system tray. On a serious
note, both the customizable hot keys and the tap the icon thingy < which
I really like, are probably a good accessibility feature for some people.

PureText can be executed via the command line (e.g., PureText.exe /C).
This allows you to programmatically clean the Windows clipboard as part
of a batch process.

Ciao.
