One could install the ESR (Extended Support Release) version of Firefox.
Then feature updates (major version updates) would only be once a year.

There is a 3-month period with security updates to both old and new
major ESR versions.  (This will give knuttle time to find a patch to put
the tabs “back” where no other major browser puts them.)
