Tracking down drivers has never been an issue for me on the rare
occasions that I need to do so. However, one of the first things I did
when I installed W10 Pro on this desktop was to use the GPE to prevent
the OS from updating drivers. IMO, if a driver does what I need then I
don't want to risk having Windows destroy the functionality of a piece
of hardware by "updating" the driver. And yes, various versions of
Windows have done this to me several times over the years.

I guess YMMV though.
