Google Contacts

Hi out there!

Since a while I*ve been using Google Calendar on all computers, tablets,
and mobile phones in my household. A modification of data on one device
shows up in all others without touching those (automatic background
syncing).

Now I installed Google Contacts but cannot find the same benefit which
Google Calendar offers - a change here doesn't cause any change there,
automatically.

I'm quite sure that it's my fault. The main advantage of Google Contacts is
- so I dream at least - the automatic distribution of data given on one of
all devices.

Can somebody explain what I obviously didn't understand?
