I have three emails that arrived in my gmail account in November 2020 on my Xiaomi Mi9. If I delete them they just return. Today I deleted the account on the phone and they disappeared. When I reinstalled the account on the phone, there they were again! As I have two gmail accounts I decided to prune their histories using the Google web client. So far so good. -- Mint 20.2, kernel 5.4.0-88-generic, Cinnamon 5.0.5 running on an AMD Phenom II X4 Black edition processor with 16GB of DRAM.
