just a few days ago,  i realized how to fix this problem...

the updated Thread  rise  (float UP) to the TOP
                         ----- should be the Default   setting !!!!

(For every NG (group))
           The default setting was
                        [ Sort-by Order Received ]

and i changed it to    [ Sort-by   Date ]


This reset(ed)   Ascending/Descending,  so i had to (manually)
        changed it back to  Descending.

Is there a way to make this ( [ Sort-by   Date ],  Descending )
              the default  for ALL the Groups?
