I examined two floppy housings, and they don't
have any disposal instructions.

You would recycle that with your "regular electronics".
There is likely some tin/lead solder inside them.

At the computer recycler, they likely throw those
out by the bushel basket. They do not keep stock of
anything that will not sell.

But, there will always be that one person, who does not
have one, and comes into possession of a "large pile of floppies",
so I suppose some day there might be a calling for one.

If you were house cleaning, the attraction for one of those
is zero, and just get rid of it. Not a hoarder item.

If, on the other hand, you had a thousand pound 35mm slide
scanner, those are worth money. There are always people
"looking for a way to scan their slide collection".
Floppies, not so much.
