The Wifi module is usually implemented as a
removable module. For well designed equipment,
ten minutes is sufficient time to unplug the
two antenna cables and remove the module from
its PCB connector.

module is ready to be disconnected.

In the picture, the module has already been pulled from
the motherboard miniature connector. When the module is
placed into its connector, a retention screw at the top
(the half-circle of copper), holds the module in place
so vibration cannot remove it from the connector. An SSD
likely does not fit into that connector, as the connector
keying might be B or M or B&M and the SSD is of the wrong
type. You have to read up on the keying scheme, before
attempting to use a socket for "something else".
