This might be feasible if the PCBs were of good quality.
I can tell you, I don't want to do it. The motherboards
aren't really good enough for re-work. If you asked me
whether it was worth it, to try such an upgrade, I
would tell you "No". Most likely the board would be
damaged in the attempt.
