Thought I'd check back with some results after a very hot week with 
temps in the mid 90's.  Cool again this morning and it is running 
between 93-97F.  When it got very warm, I did raise the speed to 60% on 
the case fan, and though the temps were higher, still very manageable. 
It was running at 104-108F, which is not bad for being in a room that hot.

Since it starts up so quickly, I also decided to shut it down overnight 
instead of just putting it to sleep.  One of the reasons is because I 
have not fully figured out the waking up unexpectedly stuff, and figure 
it is better than say not having the jiggler run after being awakened 
and running hotter than I would like.

All in all, the new case fan, the fan control app combined with the 
jiggler is keeping this thing cool during the hottest of days and that 
was the goal.
