This is a SODIMM. They make the EliteDesk800 in 4 configurations. The 2 bigger ones use DIMMs and the 2 smaller ones use SODIMMs. I'm a little suprised they went to so much trouble to use the same name for both. >I'd stick with what hp is recommending.
