I stand corrected ... a bit.  :-)

A quote from that first link you posted :

"This doesn't mean that you'll be able to stream audio from both connected

What it /does/ decribe is that it can keep listen for other paired devices, 
and if (a special) one becomes active it will automatically *switch over* to 
it.

With what I described you would also not need to do that, but instead just a 
press a button on the headset to make it switch to the next/previous 
(active) paired device.

But yes, I would regard a setting in which the headphone will automatically 
switch over to a more important device as a welcome addition to the manual 
buttons.
