You could send a SMS message to everyone in your contacts. In the SMS
message you could tell them to install Thunderbird and set up free
Usenet access at https://news.aioe.org or https://www.eternal-september.org.

Then it won't be a ghost group.

Most people are mesmerized by the garbage social media networks. We must
actively remind them that the antique internet still exists. Hundreds of
volunteers worldwide still run these servers because they realize how
necessary this protocol is. It's up to us to remind others.

I check this group once in a blue moon, just a few times per year. So I
must be a ghost!
