Interesting.

I'm confused by it being a network. There are isolated networks that can
have the same rooms, what is being talked in one of them doesn't go to
the other. I know because the openSUSE rooms changed server (from
irc.freenode.net) to another one (or network) (in irc.libera.net)
isolated from the previous one, with different administrators more
friendly or something.

It is an unknown world to me.
