A scam or legit e-mail?

Microsoft account team <[email protected]> sent an e-mail to an old university e-mail address that uses Office 365. It says:

Date: February 25, 2023 at 7:24:45 AM PST
To: [deleted e-mail address>
Subject: Microsoft account security notification

Microsoft account
Your account is set to close on 4/26/2023
Dear [deleted e-mail address],
Your account [deleted e-mail address] is scheduled to be closed on 4/26/2023 due to account inactivity. Once your account is closed it will be deleted in accordance with the Microsoft Services Agreement.
If you want to keep your account, just sign in between now and 4/26/2023. All your files, data and info will be just as you left them until then.

This is confusing. Its redirected landing https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/microsoft-account-activity-policy-7c0a9fa7-0982-b7c6-fd72-df852b63699f link is legit. Many people say this is fake and some say it's not. So, I'm confused. :(
