I noticed the same.  As if he uses the newsgroup(s) as his personal "work
book", recording every step of his progress.   I only wish he would not play
the cruel joke on novices by calling his own learning progress a tutorial.

About that ... I'm a hobby programmer, and do regulary "tie myself in knots"
to see if I can (re)create something the same/similar to what already
exists. :-)   I regard the learning process as a reward in itself.   The
end-result often lands in the proverbial drawer.

I must say that I've also started to question his claim that he does it for
others.  You simply do not call your own learning proces (where you make
to-be-proven assumptions and are doodeling in the border) a tutorial.
