I apologize for the dual post in the same article, as I had edited it to include the section on why I suspect Microsoft is so desperate for us to have an MSA and TPM on Windows 11 machines (which locks us into them). In my edits in gVim, I accidentally forgot to delete the previous edit. Moving forward, I'd be curious to know what folks think of the Veracrypt model, which has uniformity and protection advantages over Bitlocker FDE.
