some programs (i.g. Vokoscreen, Mousepad) ceased to work. Mousepad seems to have been replaced by "plume", more or less the same, even lighter (Kate still works). Vokoscreen says : Executing Child Process "/usr/bin/vokoscreen" failed (File or Folder not existing). The folder does not exist There is a FILE, called VokoscreenNG in /usr/bin but it is not seen as "executable" but as "shared library" (in the file manager). Is it possible that Bullseye migrated totally to WAYLAND, and that programs developed for X Server stopped working ? Vokoscreen is no longer in the repo now (bullseye's one I mean). Simple Screen Recorder is, and does more or less the same though, a bit less handy to use, but good compression. What commands should I use to clarify the question on which display driver is in use ? I try INXI -G .... Graphics: Device-1: Intel CoffeeLake-S GT2 [UHD Graphics 630] driver: i915 v: kernel Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.11 driver: loaded: modesetting unloaded: fbdev, vesa resolution: 3840x2160~60Hz OpenGL: renderer: Mesa Intel UHD Graphics 630 (CFL GT2) v: 4.6 Mesa 20.3.5 It seems that the display server is still X ... so why vokoscreen stopped working ? If it was automatically uninstalled, it left files somewhere ... -- 1) Resistere, resistere, resistere. 2) Se tutti pagano le tasse, le tasse le pagano tutti Soviet_Mario - (aka Gatto_Vizzato)
