SOLVED, wa Re: PLEASE HELP, was Re: HELP! Re: "Added" date field suddenly missing from Contacts 11.0 (1808.8) in OS X 10.13.6 (17G14042)

Just when I was about to transfer this thread over to comp.sys.mac.apps 
so I would get SOME response, I figured it out for myself:

Contacts does still have the addable field "Date", which can then be 
given any custom name, including "added".  (I hadn't noticed "Date".)

I did this, and in fact added it to the template.
