Most of them. Not gold. One of the 650 MB is a Sony brand.

I like reuse my medias. I want to get rid of them so I use them to wear them. Eventually, they don't work.

No idea. I do know drives do wear out. I had an internal Plextor IDE CD 
burner that only lasted a year right after its warranty expired. I 
rarely used it to burn, but used to read my discs a lot. :(
