IP address is displayed at the upper  left corner of the touchscreen.

Documentation makes it seem dead simple. Just give the
IP to the browser and ... voila ... nothing.

Don't recall a mention in the document.

In my experience, Ethernet cables are backward compatible. A 
contemporary cable works on an older machine; true in all cases? Or 
the old patch cables I happened to try don't work with the newer 
machines?
