I do all my construction drawings in Layout 2021.1. I use a series of scenes from sketchup that I bring to LO. I use paralell projection (Isometric for 3d views so that I can control scaling. That scheme seems to work fine because the views (scenes) I use are of smaller sections.


Standard Drawings contain standard notes and details and are referenced from the contract plans. That way these commonly used notes and details do not have to be recopied again and again into every set of plans. Standard Drawings help reduce both the number of drawings in project plans and the time it takes to prepare project plans.

The Standard Drawings shown on this website are intended for use only on projects undertaken by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). Any use made of these drawings by any other party shall be entirely at the party's own risk. No warranty is given. TDOT reserves the right to void, revise or create new drawings at anytime.


Spanning over five centuries of works on paper, the collection of the Department of Drawings and Prints includes more than 21,000 drawings, 1.2 million prints, and 12,000 illustrated books and artists' books, as well as an extensive collection of printed ephemera. Throughout the year a rotating selection of objects from the collection is displayed in the Museum's Robert Wood Johnson, Jr. Gallery (gallery 690). Most works that are not on view may be examined by visitors in the Study Room for Drawings and Prints by appointment. Visitors are also welcome to consult books in the department's reference library on the history of drawings and prints. Partial holdings of this reference collection appear on Watsonline, the Museum libraries' online catalog.


The documents on this site represent the latest striping drawings for streets in the City and County of San Francisco (SF). The City does not guarantee their accuracy. Users must verify conditions and measurements in the field for the most accurate up to date information. Other agencies (such as Caltrans, Port of SF, and the SF Recreation and Parks Department) share jurisdiction and may maintain striping records on certain streets. Refer to the Blue Book for those locations. If the SFMTA does not have striping records for these locations, you may contact those agencies for striping drawings.


When available, these drawings must be used as a base for Special Traffic Permit application drawings. To assure the fastest turn-around for permits, the City requires using them as a background for showing construction zones rather than re-drawing roadway striping. Mark the limits of the work zone/lane closure requests directly onto these striping drawings and provide all applicable dimensions/widths.


Bridge Group Structure Detail drawings are intended to supplement contract structure drawings for bridges and appurtenant highway structures. These drawings standardize the details for construction of recurring features used in Arizona highway structures.


Structure Detail (SD) drawings, selected/ referenced for the project, shall be listed in the contract drawings index list. The SD drawings that are included in the contract shall be downloaded for the Project Record Drawings Set for construction (Field Redline Plans).


The contents within the inner border line shall not be altered. The project identification boxes within the outer border line are to be completed by the user. The Structure Detail drawings shall be used in conjunction with contract structural drawings prepared by a licensed professional engineer. Their use for specific application with other civil contract drawings shall also be under the direction of a licensed professional engineer.






The Maryland Lottery is always looking at ways to modernize, and just as digital technology has enhanced many other industries, it has also had a positive impact on lotteries. More than 30 state lotteries in the U.S. already conduct their drawings using RNG systems because they are quicker, more efficient and more cost-effective than mechanical drawings.


In addition to tightly controlling the physical security of the room where the system is housed, the Smartplay system, itself, is equipped with stringent security measures to prevent tampering. The drawings are run by hardware and software that is sealed within the Smartplay cabinet. Any attempt to break the seal and directly access these components will disable the system. If the seal is broken, a Smartplay technician must access the system to restore operations.

The standard detail drawings below apply to all Site Permit Review (formerly Concurrent Review). They are intended to be used as a guide in the preparation and submittal of plans for private development and city contract projects within the City of Raleigh and the city's extra-territorial jurisdiction.

Though these drawings are little known and have seldom been exhibited, Kelly produced them in such prodigious numbers that the nearly 100 works in this exhibition represent, at most, a sixth of the total portraits he drew between 1941 and 2011.


Master Drawings New York returns in 2024 with a renewed face to the well-established fair. We are excited to announce a new partnership between MDNY and THE DRAWING FOUNDATION, a New York based not-for-profit. The Drawing Foundation is dedicated to hosting and promoting drawings-related events, scholarship, and study and will have a key role in helping to develop and foster the institutional partnership events traditionally associated with Master Drawings New York.


The collection is wide-ranging, from Tudor drawings and portrait miniatures to outstanding examples of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century watercolors by notable artists such as William Blake, J. M. W. Turner, and John Constable, to architectural drawings, and works relating to the former British Empire, especially the Subcontinent, the Caribbean, and the African diaspora. The collection has exceptional topographical prints, caricatures, mezzotint portraits, sporting art, and modern and contemporary prints, as well as a growing collection of photographs from the birth of photography to now.


Materials and methods:  A total of 178 patients aged of 3 to 14 years were handed out two-page forms which contained three sections on coloring and drawing, along with general information, and Frankl's behavior rating scale for the visit. The three types of drawing exercises given to the patients were geometric copy drawings, coloring a nonthreatening figure, and an empty sheet for freehand drawing.


Results:  Out of 178 patients, 60 showed definitely positive behavior, 73 exhibited positive behavior, 37 showed negative behavior, and 8 were definitely negative on Frankl's behavior rating scale; 133 children had none or, 1 stress marker and 45 exhibited 2 or 3 stress markers in their drawings. Chi-square (χ2) analysis was done with a 2  2 contingency table. Observed χ2 value was 46.166, which at 1 degree of freedom was much greater than that at 0.995 percentile. Therefore, the result was highly significant.


Conclusion:  Children requiring specialized behavioral techniques can be identified by the presence of stress markers in their drawings. This nonverbal activity by itself can have an overall positive effect on the behavior displayed in the dental clinic.

Max Bond Jr., Felix Candela, Wallace Harrison, and Max Abramovitz. Our largest collection is the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Archives. Jointly acquired with The Museum of Modern Art in 2012, it is one of the most comprehensive archives of an American architect.

TSL's are drawings that depict the general type and size of a bridge, its location and the proposed work to be done. TSL drawings are done by IDOT's Bureau of Bridges and Structures Planning Unit or by the consultant. IDOT consultants, contractors, fabricators and suppliers may benefit from being able to preview the type of bridges and materials to be used on future projects. Final bridge types, material and details are subject to refinement during the design phase.

The following TSL drawings are in Adobe PDF format. These drawings are for bridge projects on the state highway system that have been approved for design. This list will be updated every three months and projects will be removed from the list after they have been awarded.
