What is the default location of Cisco VPN client profiles? I need those .pcf files since my old Cisco VPN client doesn't work after upgrading to Mac OS X Leopard (version 10.5), and I don't remember my VPN settings. If you don't find anything, check the Library folder inside your home directory. We've tried other clients, like Shrewsoft, but are having issues with the type of authentication we're using (non-exportable certificate keyed to the specific workstation and user combination). This also works with the Android Native VPN client. The problem with the AnyConnect client is that it's not the IPsec client. It doesn't give you the ability to restrict it's execution from a source. Well, not without buying a ton of extra Cisco software to do it. I mean, my case is very specific on this, so AnyConnect is not a valid solution. The problem we're having now is after we've installed the certificate, we can configure the IPsec client normally, setting up the connection and including the certificate (which shows in the drop-down). But when we try and connect, the IPsec log says the certificate can't be found. Using MMC, we can see the certificate. So, somewhere, there is a breakdown. I have not examined the anyconnect client yet. But it's not a matter of simply using the certificate, it's a matter of ensuring that certificate can't be moved to another workstation. In other words, only we can enable a client machine to connect. And, we retain the ability to bar any machine (specifically) from the VPN by disabling its specific certificate.
